Abstract

The present study sought to verify the differences among play therapists¡¯ recovery experiences in terms of cluster-based job engagement and job resources. The data analysis tool used in this study was the SPSS 25.0 program; this was used to track differences in group recovery experiences and for confirming results. The research resulted in three main findings. First, there was a significant positive correlation in job resources, job engagement, and recovery experiences. Second, four clusters emerged, each characterized by the level of job resources and job engagement : a resources-engagement holding type, a resources- holding type, an engagement-holding type, and a resources-engagement exhaustion type. Third, the data analysis verified the differences in the clusters¡¯ recovery experience levels, as classified by job resources and job engagement. The findings indicate that recovery experience is directly related to the play therapists¡¯ job resources and/or their level of job engagement.
